there’s an oil for that
It is no secret that I love using essential oils — aromatically, internally, and topically. Essential oils play a key role in my everyday life. From a drop of lemon in my water to aid metabolism to lavender in my deodorant, the possibilities are seemingly endless. Curing queasy stomachs and headaches all the way to repelling lice and soothing other aches and pains. The best part? My husband and kids love and use them too.

Our sense of smell is incredibly powerful. Diffusing essential oils can elicit powerful emotional, mental, and physiological responses. Some oils may induce calming effects while others are more invigorating.
Certain essential oils may be used internally to promote and support good health as a dietary supplement.
*Always, always consult with a doctor before using anything internally. I am not, nor will I ever claim to be, a medical professional. What may work wonderfully for me, may not work well for others.
Due to essential oils having such a low molecular weight, they are easily and quickly absorbed into the bloodstream. Please note that it is suggested to use a carrier oil (such as fractionated coconut oil) to decrease the chance of skin sensitivity. Also, carrier oils do not lessen the effectiveness of the essential oil.

Essential oils are just the “in” thing right now.
Actually, essential oils have been used for thousands of years. The early Egyptians used them as well as the Romans and the Native Americans. Essential oils are not new at all and while they may be popular now, they were also popular back then.
There are too many different brands to choose from.
While there are many brands to choose from, it is important to “do your homework”. Choose a brand or company whose values align with your own. Personally, I love DoTerra because every single batch of oils is subject to extensive testing in order to potency and purity. DoTerra does not use fillers such as alcohol or fragrance in their oils.
